This book was good but it is more on the older kids side.
This is a great story about a group of fifth graders who learn this. They start out
On rocky ground with each other. But learn from a teachers example of love,
and gentleness as he guides them. They learn strength is in numbers, and along
with it hope, from this belief erupts miricals. They also build great friendships as well.
A great book for kids to adults to read.

I remember really liking the first book in this series. Then the 2nd book wasn't as good. I hadn't planned to read the 3rd book, but both my 5th and 6th grade boys really liked it, so I decided to read it too. It was another feel-good book about a group of kids learning and working together. I like the fact that there are both female and male characters sharing their perspectives, otherwise my boys might not read it if it was all from a female perspective. They were able to learn a bit about what girls have to deal with during puberty. :)
hopeful
inspiring
medium-paced
Satisfying 3rd book in the series. As always, each character's voice weaves together an interesting story about school, friendship, and great teachers. From an educator's POV some of the situations seemed a tad unrealistic, but that didn't detract too much from the plot.
This book was a little disappointing compared to the first two, but still a good read if you are a fan of the series!!
This book was amazing! I really hope Rob Buyea writes another one!!!
I write this review in memory of the tears I had after reading the first one...and the second one...because they were so frickin tragic and heartbreaking, yet so wonderfully optimistic, that it made me cry. I love love love this series!
The students have grown up and are starting junior high (7th grade), and are feeling the loss of Mr. Terupt from their daily lives. They're also feeling the loss of each other: between different schedules, health issues, and general 12-year-old dramas and misunderstandings, the group is straining to hold together, especially without Mr. Terupt's help. But then they find that Terupt's job is on the line due to budget cuts, and they find the project they need to bring them all back together.
A reasonable addition to the series, and fans will happily pick this one up with the other two. As a adult, though, I see their voices getting strained, and now that they're starting to date each other, I don't see the group lasting long-term unless they get some new friends to round out the social circle.
