Well written and fast-paced ya thriller but the ending was a little lackluster. The ending was mostly predictable and I wish it went in a different direction.

pretty good, quick mystery. a little obvious, plot-wise. the progressive takes, although spot-on ideologically, feel a little self-congratulatory and overwrought. i liked the characters, and as someone who works at a prestigious new england private school, i found the setting fun and compelling. pretty strong dialogue, especially for teens. definitely pick this book up if you want a fast, interesting read.
Entertaining writing and characters for the most part, although a lot of cliches. Negative is that both of the main twists are very, very predictable. Still, I give about a 3.5.
Prep school college admissions murder & scandal after scandal, that was a twisty ride, I had no idea who to trust which just felt cold & unsettling, but I loved it.
