I hated, hated, hated how this book ended. Shallow people written as sacrificing of themselves? No way. My first book by this author. I won't read another.

If you like endings tie up is a bow, this is not the book for you! I absolutely love this author - I have never given three stars (maybe say it’s 3.5). I really did not like ANY of the characters and the last few chapters felt rushed. And what was the deal with Val and “that’s how friends treat you”??? Nope! Anyway, worth the read but probably my least favorite of her books and I have read all but maybe five.

For my own memory-- good, but felt like I'd read it before? But I don't find evidence that I have. The copy that I read had 326 pgs.

This book was terrible. Skip it. I wanted my hours back, which is saying something as we are restricted to our homes and I literally have nothing but time.

Just the kind of book I was in the mood for. A summer read mixed with some mystery and unwinding of people's lives. All for a second chance at life.

Great book. Moved fast and I couldn't put it down.

This will not be near the top of my favorite Elin Hilderbrand books. I was really disappointed in the ending. However, "Nantucket Nights" is the second book Hilderbrand wrote, so it is neat to see how her style was beginning to form.

An easy and shorter EH book. The mystery is a nice twist but honestly the plot behind it made me feel gross reading it. The ending left much to be desired.

This was a strange one. I had a hard time liking any of these characters.
