This was my 4th book by Hilderbrand. This one was a bit shorter than some of the others I've read, so there wasn't quite as much plot and character development, but it worked out great. I enjoyed the usual 'mystery' to be solved, and the layers of deception and secrets that were uncovered as we learned more about each of the players in the story. It really makes you think about how much you really know your friends, and what they are capable of, or what they might do, in certain situations. Overall, a good read.
