This was… fine. On paper it ticked a lot of boxes for me. Daddy kink, age play, cnc, age gap. But I ended up skimming through parts that focused on music or cooking hoping for more focus on the monumental decision to invite a third into an almost 24/7 Ddlb dynamic and marriage. Everyone involved was written as super attractive, talented, and sexually compatible but it felt like a lot of telling and not enough showing considering how many pages were dedicated to minutiae. I finished it feeling like I was missing a piece of the puzzle.

This was a very adorable, unique story. The dynamic between August, Camden and Anthony worked beautifully. The only criticism I would find is that I'm not a fan of insta-love, and I think most of the relationship between these men happened almost immediately upon meeting. I think some time could've been taken to blossom that relationship, especially considering the nature of it, but nevertheless, I did enjoy the story and its premise.

Just like [b:We Have Till Dawn|55815432|We Have Till Dawn|Cara Dee|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1603963424l/55815432._SY75_.jpg|87026293] this one is explosively hot and packed full of all the feels.

Anthony, Nicky's older brother, has been basically cruising through life on half-speed without any great lows but no wonderful highs either when he wins a competition to cook with a famous chef he follows on social media.

But the reader knows that he's not just won a chance to visit Nashville and cook with celebrity chef August King, but that August's much younger partner Camden has been plotting ever since he saw Anthony's feed for the Music Institute he runs with Nicky.

The story evolves in a beautifully organic fashion from the moment Anthony encounters August at the end of his ranch's drive when he comes to get his bearings after driving from New York to Nashville.

It's clear from the off that the sexual chemistry between all three men is off the charts. But there's a complication Anthony hadn't expected.

Camden is a little who regresses through a number of different age points, some including sexual behaviour, others not and Camden knows August gets lonely when he's essentially acting as a single parent when he's regressed into his non-sexual state.

Which is why he chooses Anthony, he believes he could be the missing link in his relationship with August and help stop him feeling alone.

How this is navigated becomes an integral part of the narrative and Cara unfolds the story, which takes place over such a short period time but never manages to stray into "instalove" territory.

Relatively low angst, a thread of humour running throughout and the aforementioned steaming hot sex, makes this a perfect read.

We Have TIll Monday is the follow on from We Have Till Dawn by the ultimate spinner of words, Cara Dee. I can say with all honesty that I have not read a book written this deep, or never had I enjoyed and obsessed over a story quite like We Have Till Monday. I was instantly intrigued by the blurb and the idea I had was totally different to how the story was expressed. Each character was so different from the other, with different ideas, upbringings and whole outlooks on their lives. But oh did they fit together flawlessly. They complemented each other perfectly, and one together they could give each other exactly what they each needed. The interaction was a beautiful thing to read, fascinating to witness and learn the varied dynamics of their unique relationship.

Cara Dee, I cannot write down specifics of what made me fall in love with this story. It was not one thing. It was everything. From the capital letter of the first word of the first chapter. To the full stop at the end. Everything was packed into this story and the wildly different base of the relationship between Anthony, August and Camden is one I cannot get enough of. August is the protector, Anthony is the nurturer and the multi-faceted Camden is the young one that just begs to be cared for, which speaks to every cell in August and Anthony’s DNA.

We Have Till Monday will take you on a journey you never anticipated, nor will you ever forget it. A story worthy of many re-reads, and I can honestly say it is perfection in print. 5 stars.

I was expecting more

So I'm going to be the party pooper here.... I loved the first book, it was HOT, it was FILTHY, it was GREAT! So I was prepared for some of the same here as well, especially after all the buzz of how filthy this one was as well and let me tell you the mentions of rapeplay had me drooling.

Did it deliver? Not for me! The level of hotness was low and for all the kink that was said that was present in August and Camden's partnership very little was shown apart from Camden's regression. I have to say that I'm not a fan of Daddy/Lb dynamics, no kinkshaming but it doesn't do anything for me when one of the MCs regresses more than a 16yo teen, still as I said there were parts that were arousing, aka rapeplay! I was so excited to see that but the one scene was really, really mild and the 2nd one resembled more somnophilia than rapeplay.

The story in general was arousing but a tease! For all the supposed filthiness there were 3 major sex scenes, one in the very beginning with August and Anthony going from 0 to 100 with no condoms, one at the epilogue and the last one on one of the other epilogues. The other scenes were a couple of blowjobs, a couple of fingerings and a lot of "August used me well yesterday" kinda reminiscences... so as I said arousing but not HOT nor filthy on page.

As far as the relationship dynamics went August and Anthony had more time on page together and I could see them becoming a couple, August and Camden were an established couple and I believed it, but all three of them or even Anthony and Camden, I'm struggling to believe their dynamics are as strong as Cara wants me to believe they are, not really helped by Anthony getting aroused by the smallest thing Camden did, like breath for example. It was uncomfortable at times!

So yeah... I'm gonna go with 3 stars.

This was... interesting. Very outside my comfort zone. I have nothing against the different types of relationships in this book, but for me I wanted more relationship development between Anthony and August. It felt very rushed to me.

Cara, please never stop writing!

A new favorite! I loved this book. The relationship dynamics are done so well from start to finish. I’ve read some great poly books, but this is easily in my top 3. I appreciate that the story was focused on them falling in love and didn’t drag through any angst or drama. It has virtually no angst, just a lot of love and sweetness. This is also easily one of the best age plays stories I’ve ever read. I’m not huge on the trope, but I will read anything Cara writes and know I’m going to love it. I mean, she even got me to read a book with cheating!

I hope we see these 3 pop up in a future book! I think they really need to visit a certain house in Virginia.

Oh dear me...

I swear I got a cavity with this one. I loved the whole no real angst and not having to worry about loving two people at the same time. What I did find weird was the whole marriage thing. I didn't understand that part at all.

Anthony Fender's story is everything I hoped and didn't know I wanted. I Love, Love, Love, Love, Love this story. Anthony, August and Camden are such and amazing triad and their story from page one had me glued to my kindle. Camden's regressions and personality was unlike any stories I had read before, and while it was a little out of the norm, it fit the character that Cara Dee crafted perfectly. August's Daddy persona and Anthony's caretaker nature pair perfectly. They each fill a need for the other in a way that creates a perfectly balanced unit. Like all of Cara Dee's books there is a lot of acceptance and support from their friends and family even though their relationship is unconventional by common standards which I like. It normalizes that all types of relationships are unique and valid.

Another Cara Dee Book I absolutely adored, at this point I shouldn't be surprised by how much I love her writing, her characters and the stories she artfully crafts.

I highly recommend this book.

I received an ARC of this book and voluntarily give my review.
