I really enjoyed this, and it was really inspiring how tenacious Wiles was in finding proof for the theorem. Singh told the story well. I could do with reading this again in a few years when I know more about maths, in preparation for uni interviews/personal statement.

Really interesting history of mathematics through the lens of Fermat’s Last Theorem. Does a good job of making complex mathematics understandable, but some things just get brushed over because they’re too hard to explain to an average person.
