actually some really interesting writing, worth it for simon & izzy and the malec angst was painful and deserved more time on it sebastian/jonathon is such a disgusting character and i feel like this book made him kinda irredeemable in a way that he didn’t need to be bc i think he was so complex

Ok, I'm a sucker for romance and this was definitely romantic. There were plenty of sexy scenes which just added to my feminine need for a good romance. I love this series. I love the humor and how follows a lot of historical religious texts. The series puts a great twist on stories of angels and demons. Love the romance and I love the characters.

this was probably my favorite book in the series so far but it still wasn’t quite 5 star worthy unfortunately.

something about the writing still just isn’t my favorite but i really do love the characters and most of the storylines which makes up for it.

magnus and alec are still my favs even though they broke my heart.

still excited to read the conclusion to the series and hoping it’ll finally be a 5 star read!
