a solid debut novel! a bit overwritten at times, and i wish we got more of Gwen and less of Wes, but really nice coming of age/look behind the scenes at the early 2000s pop scene.

This book lacked likeable characters and the plot felt a bit all over the place. After reading The Real Deal and Hayley Aldridge is still here, it felt like a bit of a copy cat.

The Wikipedia pages throughout the book were cool, but the song lyrics didn’t add anything.
