I just love Ashley Herring Blake's writing! Each of the characters have their own personalities and I loved their relationships with each other. Delilah and Claire's relationship was so cute and one of my favorite things about this book is that Claire is a single mom and owns a bookstore. Delilah and Iris are definitely my favorite characters of the series. My only negative is that this book goes on longer than it should. But it's not terrible, I adore the characters and the romance. I'll hopefully reread the other two books soon.

Super cute queer love story— I loved it and I think it also speaks a lot about family and friendships in a really unusual but beautiful way. I wish there were more stories like this.

Really liked this and felt it was a really strong story until all the miscommunication started to rear it’s ugly head and then it felt like the story was a little too long.

I just HATE miscommunication, I hate all the inner dialogue of trying to decide what you're supposed to say/how you're supposed to act because of the way you THINK your love interest feels.  Frankly, it's just exhausting.  So I could have absolutely done without that.

But besides that the book is a cutesy queer romance with some steamy bits. Loved the authors writing style, would at the very least pick up another book by Blake. (Though I do see there are two more in this universe, one with Astrid and one with Iris and I can't honestly say whether I'm interested in those POVs yet) Delilah is sarcastic and funny and I low key love her.  Claire is sunny in all the ways Delilah is dark, making them a lovely contrast.  I liked the start of healing between the sisters too, good development. The side characters were good too.  Honestly, this was hard to put down for the most part.  Really enjoyed.

Claire and Delilah are so cute. I love the dynamic that they have. I love all the troops in the book. And the way their relationship grew over the book.
