Cute but predictable story. Reed started out as your stereotypical hockey playboy. He is talking about how he could never see himself with kids or in a committed relationship. When tragedy strikes, he becomes the guardian of his nephew. Since he is a busy hockey player his sisters long term best friend helps him out by taking care of the boy while he is playing hockey. Reed changed his views around pretty quick once Holland was in the picture. Holland has always had a crush on Reed. She was great with Evan from the start. To me, this book was a little short. It took place over a decent amount of time so we never got super in depth. There were definitely cute moments between Reed and Holland and also Evan but I wanted to see more and for this book to have a little more too it. The end conflict was very predictable. I will probably still continue to read this series I will just have different expectations going into it.

It was ok. Nothing special. Cute kid always helps but there wasn’t really anything interesting about this 🤗
The sweetest love. This one just gave me all the warm fuzzy feelings. Holland’s been in love with her best friend’s brother forever. Reed finally recognizes her and how amazing she is, especially when she steps up to help with his nephew. I just love these two together, their late night talks over Captain Crunch, and the found family they have.

I liked that this had a cute plot I am confused is holland plus sized or tiny. The back and forth on her description gave me fucking whiplash.
