The most excruciating boring book. I should have just a DNF it 20% in, but I stupidly said, let’s stick it out, one dimensional plot, boring characters with depth, and just bad vibes overall.

It's rare that an audiobook makes me like a book less, but this one did.
To me the narration choices were like nails on a chalkboard.

Instant family (surprise baby!). Suddenly your sister’s best friend looks like a woman. Secret pining for years. Secret relationship.

Once I started reading this book it was hard to put down. Fast, easy read. The plot starts plotting on the first page and doesn't stop until the very end!
The representation for Alzheimer's and how it effects the families life as well as the person who was diagnosed, 10/10. The representation for a new parent wanting to be better than their parent.. 1000/10! I loved this book so so much!

Very Cute.

This book got me out of my month long book slump.
I am an absolute sucker for friends to lovers, sweet alpha male, hockey books. Like sign me up. I enjoyed it so much I binged it in less than 24 hours. I could not put it down (but have 3 kids so, yah know, had to lol). The way Reed takes on his nephew and how Holland is there to support him. How sweet the BOTH of them are to each other. It was just perfection on every single page. I found myself laughing and smiling through their entire love story. For sure top contender for best book of 2022.
