I’ve been dragging my set about writing this review because this book killed me. Natasha Anders’ A Husband’s Regret is full of real life drama. A wife is thrown out of her home after she reveals to her husband that she is pregnant.
What I loved the most about this book was the role reversal. Because of the way the events turned out,you would expect the wife to be the angry character, but she wasn’t. It was interesting to read the authors take.
I wasn’t emotionally ready for this book. It was a great story. It has a happy ending, so do not fret. I highly recommend!

Bastante toxica la pareja, pero me gustaron igual. Con 100 paginas menos, me hubiera gustado mas todavia.

By my rating it's obvious I enjoyed the first book more than this one and it had to do with the feeling I got towards 60/70%...it felt like it was dragging on even though this was not a large book by any means.
Bryce and Bronwyn have been married for two years when she announces that she is pregnant, and he reacts horribly and tells her to get out. She leaves and spends the next two years by herself raising their daughter Kayla, living in another town, working as a waitress and barely making ends meet. She is malnourished and sickly more often than not. By chance runs into her brother-in-law who seems absolutely disgusted with her and not much later her estranged husband shows up in an absolute mad state, accusing her of horrible things. Things she has no idea about, but everyone is adamant that she is the cause for his deafness.
You see - when she kicked her out she drove off and it took him about 1 minute to get up and drive after her since she was a bad driver and he was worried and remorseful, however he gets into a car accident that results in brain trauma and losing his hearing. He believes with all his heart that she was at the scene of the accident and walked away from him, but he was obviously hallucinating this and proven wrong.
He spends almost 45% of the book blaming her and calling her a liar when she was never one and when he finally realizes what he has done and what he has accused her of, he flips a switch and becomes extremely remorseful. He is regretful and grovels for the remainder of the book. He spends most of the book dealing with his demons and struggles. He fears the worst of himself, and this causes them to not be able to fix their initial marriage.
They try to navigate by living together and raising their daughter, but Bron wants a divorce which he reluctantly grants.
We find out more about his reasons for being closed off their entire relationship, his reaction to the pregnancy: He was physically and verbally abused by his father for over 10 years. He feels like he is incapable of NOT ending up like him and feels like he does not deserve love because of how he was raised (his mother was absolutely absent, and he spent his entire life raising his brother and shielding from the abuse).
When he finally opens up about it all, they are officially divorced but they seemingly attempt to start a fresh relationship by dating and getting to know each other on a deeper level, he goes to therapy and is more open to his past and feelings. They end up engaged once more and happily married 5 years later with another child on the way.
I enjoyed his grovel but like I mentioned in the beginning of the review that it felt the book dragged on. These two went through a lot and despite the obstacles they were able to prevail.
Both were celibate during both separations. He was cruel to let her think otherwise but he did it out of spite and thankfully it was never even a thought of his to be with another.

Well after a first book book that I had a lot of trouble to reviewt because of a very mixed opinion, I wanted to read the second book to have another opinion ... And it's rather negative !
The story could have been good (a deaf hero is original !) But I have trouble with the hero who behaves horribly with the heroine, who is very cruel but in the end the heroine forgives him all because he had a good excuse ...

SO much better than the previous one. Good amount of grovel and no cheating.
