The beginning was rough. I know he had to be an asshole to her so he could become the regretful husband, and he made sure he had lots of things to regret.
I liked that later on, we got a lot of his thoughts and some flashbacks.
Still would have like some more suffering and groveling on his part.
The sex scenes weren't really for me. I fast read them because I just wanted to get past them.

I didn’t understand how these two even got married in the first place. Bryce, the husband, was insufferable. I felt like for the majority of the book his only redeemable qualities was he’s rich and good looking. In the end he turned it around but I was just so off-put at that point I barely cared. I just wanted Bronwyn to get back together with Bryce so she could get an education and have free childcare….
I have put this book off for ages. I knew it was going to be sad and difficult but my god I don't think I was prepared for how bad.
I'm not saying that is a negative thing, books that make you weep are not on my top list to read. I prefer to be happy when reading but thats a personal preference I am sure.
The trauma and turmoil that go into this book made you feel for them all. Really glad this romance worked out but got it took a while

I just didn’t connect with these two. I was not invested in them getting back together. I also didn’t think there was much of a grovel.
There were also some details to the story that were a little too loose and felt there just to create more drama in the conflict. Overall, the angst was great, but I didn’t feel the love.

In the "unwanted" series there's no mystery...you know they will make up and have a happy ending but I still really enjoyed reading it. It's a perfect, light, brainless book for a vacation.
I was given this book from NetGalley for an honest review!
Can I give this book more than 5 stars? I honestly can't express my love for this book. It was beyond perfection. But, I kind of need to review it so here it goes...
The Characters:
Bryce Palmer was such an enigma. It confused me why he was so spiteful to Bronwyn and once his past was revealed I cried so much for him. I really tried to hate him for the way he was with Bronwyn once she returned. He said such hurtful things that I was flinching with Bron as he said them. But, once he figured how he was in the wrong, boy oh boy did my heart get ripped out. His love for his daughter was such a beautiful thing to read. He was more than just a tormented hero and as I delved deeper in this wonderful story, I felt for him so much that I had to put the book down and cry! And he's really hot...
Bronwyn Palmer: Don't worry I didn't side with Mr. Bryce the whole time. Oh boy, did she suffer through some unforgivable things. I couldn't believe how well written she was. I loved how she didn't take what was being dished out to her and fought for herself and her daughter. She had such a backbone and I love when female characters are strong and fight for what they want. I really did like this heroine!!
The Story was such a beauty to uncover! I loved everything about it and I wouldn't change a thing. I was sucked in right from the beginning and believe me, I didn't get ANY SLEEP. Only about 2 hours rest and I was back to this wonderful story. Natasha Anders really hit this book out of the ball park! She truly has a wonderful gift in storytelling. I fell in love with Sandro and Theresa the moment I read the first words on the first page and from then on, I've been an immense fan of Natasha Anders. I've already preordered all the books so that I can get them on paperback! I just ordered the third one because I honestly can't get enough of Natasha Anders and her beautiful stories.
If you love a story about love, angst and redemption, please don't skip this one! I can't stop staying how beyond beautiful this story was and I will be reading it again.
Thank you so much, NetGalley for the opportunity to read this book!
