I kind of thought both leads were annoying, but I still finished the book. I feel very lukewarm about it. Like, I enjoyed the feelings it envoked with their conflict initially. But I got tired of it at the 70% mark.
I really didn't like how often he called her a b**ch, both him and Rick, who I really didn't like at all.

This is the heart-wrenchingly beautiful story of two people trying to make sense of their wounds…and their feelings for each other. So much destruction from one misunderstanding. The story was full of angst and had my heart pulled in so many directions I didn’t know what was going to become of Bryce and Bronwyn.

I struggled with finding the right words to describe this story and although I was able to form a few ideas, I just couldn’t accurately describe how I’m feeling after having read the book. I’m emotionally bankrupt.

This was a hard earned happily ever after. I recommend this book to anyone who enjoys reading about the joy and pain of loving someone.

I keep returning to this one now and then. So I guess I liked it more than I thought I did.
No it's not perfect, and neither of them are the sharpest crayons in the box, but it's still kinda deliscious.

I really liked The Unwanted Wife so I thought I'd read all of the books in the series. I almost didn't finish this one. The Love / hate relationship between spouses because of a surprise pregnancy just didn't grab me and pulled me into the story at first.

However the more I read, I eventually started to like the intricacies of the relationship once the full story and the characters personalities developed. I still never connected with the mmc completely.

Most of the story I completely understood why the fmc left him ( and it wasn't just because if one blown out of proportion fight) , he just grayed on my last nerve. He was verbally abusive and blamed his wife for his accident for a long time, even when she came back.

Overall I'd recommend reading the story. Is the fmc sort of a doormat? Yes. Is the mmc a assist? Yes too but the dynamic of their relationship did peak my interest.
