I tried this one thinking that perhaps it'd be better than the first one, but it managed to be even worse. I don't think I'll be trying out this author again.
I hated how Bryce treated and talked about Bronwyn in the first half of the book. I really liked the first book in the series, but this one was disappointing
Read it again
Reread 1/31/2017 for prob 4th time.
It really amazes me how this author can take a horrible hero and turn it around so I'm rooting for him. I actually think heroine in this book should of forgiven him much sooner, I wanted her to take him back when she saw him watching their wedding DVD. But I still loved it.

I loved the author's first book in this series, so thought this would be good too.
This entire book could have been over in pages, had the characters sat down, had a proper conversation for 2 minutes, and actually listened to what the other person is saying. Couldn't connect to either of them. Would have been better if they had gotten a divorce in the end. Bleh.

Man, this is such a downgrade from the first book. The first book had a lot of feelings going on, but this one felt flat. Seriously Bryce was fucking schewpid with the whole “Bron was there and left him in cold blood” and never once thought that he was delirious or hallucinating. And to base every hatred for his wife just from that scene alone. WEAK. AND STUPID. That’s one of the few things I find lacking in this book. Smh
Also… how many times do I have to read the word “slender”? Take a shot every time “slender” (inserts body part) and prepare to get wasted. Yeah we get it, she’s skinny and malnourished but if I have to read about how slender she is one more time…

• The first book in the series was better than this one and this book was a bit boring
• The main characters have a past and it is shown clearly what happened then and what they are doing now but I thought that the book focused a bit too much on the problems between them and not enough of actually developing the characters and all the side characters as there were a few and I wanted to see more of them while they are actually interacting with the main characters as in this book when there are side characters in the scene, they are usually not doing/saying much and we don’t get to know them
• The way Kayla sort of straight away gets attached to her dad was a bit unrealistic to me, especially since we don’t really see them getting to know each other so it was a bit abrupt but since children are very adaptable that would have been fine if not for the fact that in the few weeks that they stayed with Bryce, the child suddenly understand sign language and can communicate with her dad using it, I thought that this was really unrealistic; also Bronwyn takes a couple of sign language classes and she is almost fluent in the language which I didn’t think was believable
• My main problem with this book, apart from it being a bit boring and it being written in a bit of an emotionless way, was how things happened instantly and how unrealistic some of the events were, such as the sign language for both Bronwyn and Kayla, how Bronwyn almost instantly made all these friends and how quickly everyone went from thinking the worst of her to realising that she was the injured party (maybe if all this was shown more in the book then it could have been more believable but as most of the things that happened that didn’t include only the main characters, it all happened in the background

A Husband's Regret begins with us getting to see what happened between Bronwyn and Bryce two years ago. Something bad happened between them even if neither of them really know the whole story yet, they each harbor a little hate for each other. Now that two years has gone by and they've finally found each other again life seems to take them in a whole new direction. They have to move past old hurts and learn to trust each other again if they ever wish to move on. That seems to be a lot harder then it should be.
This book was okay. It wasn't great, but not bad either. I loved the ending and the plot line for the most part. What bothered me was I didn't really feel much of a connection between Brownwyn and Bryce, and I just didn't care much for Bronwyn. She kind of drove me nuts at times, but I really liked Bryce even though he made a lot of mistakes. This book was a fairly easy read with lots of drama, and heartache but it ended beautifully! I really do recommend it especially if you liked the first book in this series.
