I love the emotional roller coaster in Natasha Anders' books. I really enjoyed this book.
Enjoyed this one immensely. The MMC is a prideful idiot, and when his loving wife announces she's pregnant, he tells her to get out. The author cleverly weaves in a few ways why his reaction was so terrible. When Bron leaves, she starts over as broke, pregnant and single. Her journey is one of resilience and strength, and she's a freakin' saint for her capacity to understand others. Some of the attacks against her are unforgivable, but she finds a way to forgive. When her prideful idiot husband finds her, he's created his own story to explain why things have turned out the way they have. it's a bit frustrating how he's so convinced of his truth despite logic not being on his side, and as soon as one small piece of evidence is found, he realizes he's messed up, BAD. From there, let the groveling begin. Yes, fate dealt him a crappy hand; but the rest he did all on his own.
It's sad and emotional, though not as sad as the first Unwanted book in my opinion.

I love this series..the first book is one of my favorite books. This author knows how to write a great asshole..you wanna punch him in the nuts one second and kiss him hard the next! The angst and emotion it evokes is a reminder of why I read and escape the daily grind! If you haven't read the Unwanted Wife I recommend it highly!

4.5 stars!

After reading the first book a couple of months ago on pure impulse, I've been dying to read more from this author. And I've got to say, A Husband's Regret was a hundred times better then I thought it would be!
The book start off with a bang and once again captures my attention from the very first chapter. I'm still surprised by how certain events unfolded! I was scared that this book would be too similar to the first or that it wouldn't be as good but it was nothing like the first book. I kept trying to figure out they would react to certain events but time after time, the characters surprised me.
Bryce is full of anger. Anger towards Bronwyn. Anger towards himself. Hell, just anger towards the world in general. Time after time he was so cruel and mean to Bronwyn and I was really starting to hate him. Why is he so angry at her? Well I'm not telling but you do find out pretty quickly.
When Bryce was first introduced I was a little nervous I wouldn't like her. She was this sickly, super skinny weak character and I was so worried she would get on my nerves with the constant tears. But she surprised me with just how strong she really is. She's a survivor and there's nothing I love more then a strong heroine. Bryce really hurt her and I truly felt her pain every time he said something cruel or hateful towards her but I love that she didn't let him stop her from doing what she wanted.
Not much more I can say without giving everything away but if you loved the first book you will definitely love the second. This is a complete standalone so if you want to just jump right into this book you could totally do that too. Though I still recommend reading the first because it's just too good to not read. I'm looking forward to reading more from this author in the future!

3/5 stars. It was good in the beginning and I wanted to know if he had a valid excuse for anything he did. But he made useless excuses and it was honestly really annoying. Like you think when you are unconscious and see your wife it might not actually be her and a figment of your imagination. He had no reason to be so upset at her and not trust in what she said. Also a little creepy that he saw her working at a restaurant and was like I’m gonna marry her in 2 months. Also like the fact he didn’t say anything until after they went through legal divorce so annoying. Honestly her keep going back to him after he insulted her every time is really annoying. They both annoyed me with his insults and her not standing up.
