A little far fetched, predictable tale of a noble child who grows up in the slums of London, passing as a boy and stealing for a living. She then gets a job as a maid, falls in love with her boss and eventually finds out that she is nobility. I enjoyed it.

Not my favorite.

I feel like Lindsey is a good historical romance writer for people who don’t care or know much about history. Not for me though.

A nice romance.
It was the first novel about the Malory family I read, so I took it quite as a stand-alone. I liked Danny, a lot. And I loved Jeremy.
After gaining perspective, I loved Jeremy even more, simply because he is James' son, and James is... James.

I want to reread at some point.

Yeah, Jeremy deserved better, IMO. If you're the son of a pirate, you deserve a story that doesn't have you coming off as an uptight manwhore. And who knew that those things could exist in one person?

Love the Mallory's! Read December 2014. Reread February 2015.

My favorite from this series now. Not surprised that Jeremey would be my favorite.
