I only made it to the 2nd or 3rd book, I can't even remember which I was on as this has got to be one of the most boring series of books I've read. It is nothing like Firefly or Serenity as many suggest, it lacks any pizzazz and feels more like you are reading a quickly sketched out book hastily written on cardboard. The characters are dry and so very much, over done, that you end up rolling yours eyes at every joke because its ... been ... done ... already!
I would not recommend this book to anyone, which is sad because there is so much there but it's like pulling teeth to continue.

This is one that I’ve just kept thinking of even months later. Had to relisten and update my 4.5>5
Story and characters were enjoyable enough, however I think the story just wasn't what I was looking for. I found I was looking for other things to listen to and wasn't interested in diving back into the story.
Kind of had a Futurama vibe as opposed to an expanse vibe, which is fine, but I prefer higher stakes I think.

This was utter delectable enjoyment! You will feel like part of the crew after a while even though space is tight on the Moebius yet the couch seems inviting enough !
By far the best science fantasy story, setting and characters that I’ve ever read! Morin achieved incredible characters in very short descriptions. They are instantaneously recognisable, loved, revered, feared, respected. Sadly he was not able to do this with his Twinborn series.
This is truly a nod to Firefly but with its own flare and uniqueness. The science and magic is inedible. This omnibus really had too much in it! I would recommend taking many breaks.
This is simply an excellent series in all aspects - great characters, great villains, character development, story, ongoing plot, narration (it’s phenomenal!!!!! ) and universe.
