What a book! It has everything I like: arranged marriage, alpha male, my wife. I read this book in less than a day.
I love Alejandro and Alana.

DNF. The writing was not great, everything over-the-top, and I couldn’t get past 35%.
For the love of all things holy, please don’t ever refer to cum as “cream”. This is so much worse than “milking” in sex scenes and I cringed every time it was used.
This is basically just porn with the loosest of narrative stringing together sex scenes that get pretty repetitive. I think I was looking for something with a little more plot (lol at plot when reading smut) so this just wasn’t scratching the itch for me but I felt determined to finish it…mostly by skimming.
I’ve read several Sadie Kincaid books before, but this was the first one I noticed an obnoxious amount of exclamation points, particularly in dialogue and prose where it felt incredibly out of place. Also some typos and grammatical mistakes that tripped me up on numerous occasions.
Overall, I was just not feeling this book. I wish it wasn't split into a second part because I'm curious about the ACTUAL plot of Alana's dad and who Lucy is but don't feel like sitting through another 280 pages just to find out.

So. Bad.
Ugh. This “heroine was so weak! Also, a note to all authors! STOP having grown women “giggle”! Children giggle. Women laugh, chuckle, etc. Nothing drives me insane more than people using language that is only used for children. If you enjoy a boring story, a weak heroine and lame dialogue then this is the book for you.

The book was okay. Kind of boring. I expected all little more pushback from Alana. She shouldn’t have left her mom though.
Started seeing more grammatical errors towards the end.

Good smut…
…but if I have to read the phrase ‘a flash of his eyebrows’ again, I may actually throw my kindle.
That aside, it’s got a good balance of plot and smut. The smut is
