I normally LOVE Sadie- and don’t get me wrong I didn’t not like this book but I think reading her other series first may have shifted my expectations. As far as spice goes it’s definitely there but not as intense as In some of her other books. That said there is a lot and I absolutely loved the dynamic between the two Main characters (though at times i was frustrated by how little they communicated and how much could have been avoided but that’s typical of most romance novels). Im going to finish this series and am optimistic that I’ll continue to enjoy them!

I have finished reading fierce king. I absolutely enjoyed it, I could not put it down and just wanting to read till I finish it. If you are into dark mafia romance then this is for you. It’s really spicy if I rate the spicyness it would be 5/5

I read this book when I was home sick with a stomach bug and I devoured every single page. This was read in less than eight hours and it was such a good book. To watch Alejandro change and truly fall in love with his queen was amazing. He came into this relationship thinking she was a spoiled little princess and by the end of the book he was madly and deeply in love with her. I am obsessed with this book I cannot wait to finish the series with the second one. I will say I am secretly hoping we see more of the supporting characters in this book and we find out more about Alana’s parents this book!

2.5 stars. I feel like they didn’t really have any chemistry. And they got together too quickly. Like half way through the book and it was already a happy ending. I was bored. There was nothing to look forward to. And I just felt like a bunch of the same scenes happened again and again. But with the slightest difference. The only reason I finished it was because of my book challenge.
