The subject is one that I believe is important for a wide audience - those who identify with gender issues and those who don't understand gender issues. That being said, the writing was juvenile and pedantic (yes, I know the author is a 15-year old kid, but hello . . . ). While I empathize with the author, I had a hard time getting past the author's narcissistic attitude and inflated ego. The incessant name dropping was nauseating, and I think I even lost a contact lens from all the eye rolling I did throughout this book.
