I was surprised on how much I enjoyed this book. I normally don’t like romances with kids but thankfully Bailey didn’t talk. There were a couple things I wasn’t really fond of and I think it was mainly at the twist at the end. I had my theories on what was going on but it wasn’t what was really going on. I still did like how the book ended though.

This was definitely something. Ok at the beginning, Tobias was a jerkhole, and I was cringing while reading! Meyer was so mysterious and it has you really wondering what the heck her history is. The freaking PLOT TWIST. I didn’t expect that and what I thought was all wrong. Like dang. But I loved seeing Tobias’ character soften and he was freaking dreamy. I had tears in my eyes at times. This was really good, but the ending felt rushed.

I loved every freaken minute of this book. Tobias is so dreamy. Meyer is amazing for all she had to overcome. Them together was perfect.

hated it

I loved this so much more than I thought I would!!!!
The plot twist that I wasn't expecting at all and the ending. Everything about this is perfection.

Ok this book has been on my TBR and Kindle forever and I am kicking myself for not reading it sooner! I should have known I would love it after reading Brayshaw! Meagan has such an interesting way of writing that just draws you in and has you dying to know more!

This is a sports romance (baseball) with an enemies to lovers vibe. It follows Tobias Cruz, the undisputed king of the school. He has a reputation for being a player on and off the baseball field. He is failing classes so it set up with a tutor.. Meyer is the (un)lucky girl set up to be at his beck and call but his coach.

This could've been such a typical story of the tutor girl falling for the jock but Meagan managed to weave such an intricate tale full of secrets and twists that I never could have seen coming.

I really adored the relationship between Tobias and Meyer and how naturally it developed. It didn't feel rushed and felt super organic. The curveballs they were thrown as a couple could easily have been enough to break them but they pushed through and fought for each other.

This was such a good book, I really enjoyed and wish I'd read it sooner!
