4.5! I thought this was a really unique plot and loved all of the characters! Fizzy was such a refreshing female MC who tells it like it is and knows herself well. As a reality TV lover I loved that this was the main focus. I breezed through this and highly recommend

Very good story line and character progression. Made me feel physical emotion and a desire to root for the characters. While it was more of an unconventional slow burn, it was nonetheless which makes it a favorite of mine.
lighthearted

Looooved this! It was fun having characters from the previous story and this one was so sweet. Amazing ending

I dnf’ed this TWICE and picked it up for a third time on audiobook. so part of this rating is in fact my fault. I should’ve left it alone the first time I quit.

but may I just say, I hated this book. I hate read it, and it totally wasn’t worth it. I firmly believe that Fizzy and Connor shouldn’t have gotten back together in the end. in fact, i’d argue that sometime after the final page, they break up. because Fizzy is just the goddamn worst. for a book about “true love”, I felt 100% confident that the FMC was completely incapable of feeling that emotion. also her lack of boundaries is so uncomfortable to read, let alone root for. every single interaction with Connor was purely physical. there was no emotional intimacy, and she just constantly says how badly she wants to jump his bones /how large he is/ how he has a magical dong. like girl. this isn’t sexy for a grown ass woman to be objectifying every single man she comes in contact with. she does not love him, she’s not capable of it. as for Connor, he lost all romance hero rootability the moment he said that he cheated on his ex-wife because he was done with the relationship but didn’t want to be the one to end it. disgusting, despicable, once a cheater always a cheater.

again, totally my fault for picking this back up. but this was truly one of the most horrendous “romance” books I have ever read.
