I hate anything reality TV AND single dad but I took a chance on this one after very much liking The Soulmate Equation and I am glad I did! The show was actually a really fun ride and I loved the Hero Tropes! Fizzy was great - feminist, hilarious and real. I believe that using humor to deflect works well in books and IRL. This was light, yes Fizzy, and relatively stress/angst free!

the ending tied the story up nicely but getting through the first half of this book was exhausting mainly because i personally did not like Fizzy as a character
I did enjoy this one as well as the 1st. I wonder what John Marrs thinks of it since it is a much more light hearted The One but same matches plot. I would recommend anything by c.lauren or j.marrs but def different writing styles :-D
Not a fan of the female narrator. I didn’t want to listen to her chapters. I ended up skipping them and reading those through a hardback copy.

I had just finished happy place when I picked this up, and it was like a breath of fresh air. It was engaging, hard to put down, a little bit raunchy and just overall very fun.
