3.5 stars actually.

I’m sucked for best friends turned boyfriends/girlfriend. Sydney has been in love with Kyler since they were both kids, she stood by him through everything. Kyler realized he liked her, when she started dating her boyfriend, but never felt good enough for her, so he slept with basically everyone.
That will all start to change when they get stranded at the ski resort.

It’s just such a lovely, heartwarming story, with incredibly addicting writing. I loved it! :)

La historia me gusto pero en realidad no era lo que esperaba.
La disfrute y fue entretenida pero no a sido lo mejor que he leido de Jennifer.

I am so much a fan of Jennifer another great listen and I love how her books flow.

I enjoyed this new adult contemporary romance involving best friends (who secretly are pining over each other) to lovers. However, Kyler drove me insaneeeee. He’s certainly no Aiden, Daemon, or Nyktos but he eventually pulls his head out of his ass 🤣. I really wish Sydney had more confidence and we saw more character growth. It would’ve been nice to see her go from “frigid” to the warm woman we know she is deep down. Instead, we see how others perceive her as well as TONS of overthinking.

There was an overarching plot to this one that added a tinge of suspense, albeit it was predictable. We also had a snowy, holiday setting which added some coziness without this being a “Christmas romance.”

Even with all this being said, JLA is a comfort author for me and I will read her every time. Her writing style just flows freely and her books are easy reads.

Thanks to NetGalley and Bloom Books for the pre published copy of this one!

I enjoyed this.
Both characters were likeable enough.
I did want to slap them both upside the head numerous times
And I did wonder if they knew each other so well & for so long how did they not pick up on what each of them were saying or not saying or get so confused & misread things so badly!!!

Also with it just been the two of them for so long it got a bit dragged out in the middle.

But this was an exceptionally hot NA. And the scenes were so believable & relate-able.

4.5 stars from me! What a great best friends to lovers story! Full of angst with a little mystery thrown in and lets not forget steamy! I loved these characters and was very happy with the ending as well as all the "awwww" moments.

I loved this book. I don't care how cheesy it was, it was amazing.

4.5 Stars

I'm a huge fan of J.Lynn, and usually I rate her books 5 stars. That's both a good and a bad thing, because I'm always excited about the release of another of her masterpieces, but I have high expectatives about it. Maybe that's the reason why I'm giving Frigid 'only' 4.5 stars, I think it's hard for this author to top her old books now but this one was still amazing and has a place between my favorites.

I love stories about two best friends who have feelings for each other, so I knew I was going to like Frigid. And we all know J.Lynn has a special talent to create very yummy men, so it didn't surprise me how much I loved Kyler.

He was my favorite thing about the book, Sydney, on the other hand, no so much. I'm not sure why, maybe it was the way she thought about everything too much. She was insecure, I get it, but sometimes she was a bit inmature for my taste. And the way she talked with Kyler in some scenes was kinda dumb, repeating the last thing he said or using 'uh?' and 'I did?' a lot of times. But anyway, nothing that made me hate the girl or anything. Except from that, she was pretty likeable and I felt so bad for her when things with Kyler were weird.

Kyler made his own mistakes too, but the way he was around Sydney and the things he did for her, those little details were so sweet and he found a way into my heart with every page. He was also too overprotective sometimes, but other than that he was great.

Maybe the bad boy role is a bit overdone by now, but it worked just fine for this book.

The sexual tension between Sydney and Kyler was so intense, I was dying to know how everything was going to go down for them. The sex scenes were amazing, I love Jennifer's writtng style and I could picture everything easily in my mind.

At some point I was missing some of the action this author usually includes in her books, but then at about 70% or so I started to like it even more. That final 30% did it for me, it was really interesting and got me hooked until the end. It was imposible for me to put it down. So that's a really good thing.

Not my favorite J.Lynn book so far but I still loved it! It was great and I highly recommend it.

Es una historia muy básica pero entretenida para un día que quieras una lectura ligera y fácil de leer.
