I loved this book. I don't care how cheesy it was, it was amazing.
4.5 Stars
I'm a huge fan of J.Lynn, and usually I rate her books 5 stars. That's both a good and a bad thing, because I'm always excited about the release of another of her masterpieces, but I have high expectatives about it. Maybe that's the reason why I'm giving Frigid 'only' 4.5 stars, I think it's hard for this author to top her old books now but this one was still amazing and has a place between my favorites.
I love stories about two best friends who have feelings for each other, so I knew I was going to like Frigid. And we all know J.Lynn has a special talent to create very yummy men, so it didn't surprise me how much I loved Kyler.
He was my favorite thing about the book, Sydney, on the other hand, no so much. I'm not sure why, maybe it was the way she thought about everything too much. She was insecure, I get it, but sometimes she was a bit inmature for my taste. And the way she talked with Kyler in some scenes was kinda dumb, repeating the last thing he said or using 'uh?' and 'I did?' a lot of times. But anyway, nothing that made me hate the girl or anything. Except from that, she was pretty likeable and I felt so bad for her when things with Kyler were weird.
Kyler made his own mistakes too, but the way he was around Sydney and the things he did for her, those little details were so sweet and he found a way into my heart with every page. He was also too overprotective sometimes, but other than that he was great.
Maybe the bad boy role is a bit overdone by now, but it worked just fine for this book.
The sexual tension between Sydney and Kyler was so intense, I was dying to know how everything was going to go down for them. The sex scenes were amazing, I love Jennifer's writtng style and I could picture everything easily in my mind.
At some point I was missing some of the action this author usually includes in her books, but then at about 70% or so I started to like it even more. That final 30% did it for me, it was really interesting and got me hooked until the end. It was imposible for me to put it down. So that's a really good thing.
Not my favorite J.Lynn book so far but I still loved it! It was great and I highly recommend it.

Definitely a top 3 favorite book. I love this book so much I’ve read it like 4 times. It makes me laugh and it’s so romantic. I am forever grateful to the girl who told me to read this!

i feel like this is the love story of shawn mendes and camila cabello
It was just ok. Nothing to write home about. I was expecting a lot more from this writer, as I love her other work, like Wait for You and the Lux series. But this book had very little angst and even fewer surprises. It was sweet in some parts but you pretty much knew what was going to happen the whole time. Besides a couple of good scenes, I was unimpressed.
I loved Syd's internal monologues, she could actually be quite funny, it's just a shame she has no confidence on the outside. All in all i enjoyed the story, it was well written, like all the other books of hers i have read.
