Omg, it was so beautiful, totally loved it! You did it again JLA :)

Not as creative as you might hope readers. It has all the cliche variables that have been worked before. We have the best friends since childhood, the player, the prude, and the snow-in. I was hoping there'd be some spin to the story that's been worked before, but nothing. I didn't like how pathetic Armentrout made our heroine by pining over a guy. This was a waste of time and I would not recommend it to anyone.

*This review is purposely vague so I don't spoil anything major to the plot. Because just giving out a tiny bit of information would basically be telling the whole book.*

I love JLA. I do. But, honestly, her books are a bit too similar for my liking.
In almost all of her books, the main character is short and tiny and self-conscious, and the love interest is so hot, he's practically a sex god. We all love reading about hot guys, but it kinda gets…old. And she describes them in the same way, so it's not like they're completely different. All her sex scenes are pretty much described in the same way. I'll tell you one thing, you'll never doubt that JLA was the person who wrote the book. Her writing doesn't change, which may or may not be a bad thing, depending on your preference.

Anyway, this book was kinda…eh? It deals with the basic girl in love with her sexy, manwhore friend for years plot. He loves her too but thinks she's too good for him, but eventually feelings get out and they have sex. A lot of it. Her books guarantee loads of steamy-ness, which again, may or may not be a good thing, depending on preference.

The blurb basically promises a steamy romance. And that's what we get. But then there's that one line in the blurb that hints to something bigger. The whole stalking part. So I'm thinking it's going to be a thriller or something?

Nahh. The book is just about the romance between these two characters whos names escape me at the moment. Which isn't good, seeing as I literally just finished it. But anyway, there is hardly anything about this 'stalking' bit. It's fairly obvious who the person is that's doing these things, so don't expect to be put in suspense. Oh and the little stalking thing is only thrown in about two times in the middle of the book, and then the actual stuff goes down when the book is almost over, but it seemed too fast. Like maybe JLA wanted a romance with an additional plot or something. But all we have is a very minor subplot that only seems to be there to provide our couple with drama and angst and make them fight before they make up. Which every romance book seems to feel the need to have.

All-in-all, this was an okay read. Neither the plot or the characters are particularly deep, but if you're a fan of a steamy romance and/or JLA, then this might be the book for you.

Wow.

I mean, look at them abs!

¡alguien comienza a acosarlos!

Good stand alone, entertaining, buuuuut not enough for a series.

I found Frigid to be engaging and entertaining without eliciting too many major eye-rolls. I enjoyed the premise of two very different best friends being in love with each other AND being too blind to realize that their love was not unrequited.

I really liked Kyler and Sydney despite a few moments when they both displayed how utterly stupid they could be. Kyler had his stereo-typical womanizing bad boy side but it was the side of him he saved just for Sydney that won me over. I could definitely tell, given the chance, Kyler was willing to be the kind of man he believed Sydney deserved. It also didn't hurt that he was devastatingly gorgeous and said all the right things. Also, his air of vulnerability also added to his charm, As for Sydney, there were times her incessant self-doubt got on my nerves but overall she was a good character. I loved some of the things she said and how hilarious she could be. What I really liked about her was that she thought most things through and wasn't overly impulsive. She also tended to match Kyler's snark and didn't just let him get away with everything, she challenged him to be better

Even though I really enjoyed the plot it was a little unbelievable to me. I have a hard time believing two people who know each other that well would have no inclination about their mutual feelings or at least attraction to one another, Also, the whole "mystery element" of someone terrorizing them wasn't all that well-developed so that left something to be desired,

Overall, I really enjoyed Frigid. I found it to be a quick and fun read, especially for a chilly fall/winter night. The relationship between Kyler and Sydney is good for some laughs and will keep you on your toes.

so it probably wouldn't win many literary awards but as a story to keep me entertained and make me happy I loved it. very very adorable story. I would probably say that the story itself is a bit over the top but I like to read to get lost in a story. and I did that. I picked it up 4 hours ago, and only put it down twice to wee. would definitely read again, partly for the story, partly for the sex scenes.

Me falto el epílogo.

OK, I loved this book! kyler and Syd are the perfect best friends! I love the ending even though they had some stuff to get through.
I can't wait to read the rest of the series...
