Se lee en un pestañeo porque es muy ligero, bastante cliché (me encanta)
No fue el mejor libro de Jennifer pero bastó para este fin de semana con bloqueo lector.
Jenny es un lugar seguro, siempre <3

Once upon a time, there lived two idiots in love and in denial. The denial sadly outweighed the in love part so a lot of drama went down... but not without the happily ever after of course. Also, there are psychopaths everywhere so keep your eyes peeled and keep dancing with strangers to a minimum.
Fin.

Sweet romance, there was a lot more uh sex lets say in this book than I expected.
I've read fifty shades of grey so I feel I'm prepared for most but I must say this book shocked me.
Still love the ending, its super sweet and best friends realizing they're in love with each other is sort of a fairy tale isn't it?

This is the third new adult book by Jennifer L. Armentrout that I've read and again it has the same clichés. The guy is a girl magnet and described as perfect looking and the girl is this helpless damsel-in-distress. Especially in the beginning, I was kind of irritated with the characters because of how they acted. I also didn't really like Syndey as a narrator because she was so insecure and always doubting herself. But most of all, I missed a little more depth to this book. I felt like there wasn't any story at all besides the romance. I still very much enjoyed this book, though. Even though Jennifer L. Armentrout's new adult books are not the best, they are still very much fun to read.

Stories about unrequited love and best friends turned lovers are between my favourites and this is a book by Jennifer L. Armentrout, so of course I loved the book.
However, I didn't give it 5 stars because:
1 - I thought everything happened way too quickly between Sydney and Kyler. I know they were in love with each other for years and that all that went down between them should have happened years earlier, but I find it hard to believe that after so many years of fear of rejection, drama and angst, they would immediately jump into each other's pants.
I mean, at least if I was Sydney, I wouldn't spill my guts to Kyler like that and basically tell him I wanted to jump his bones. And I certainly wouldn't jump his bones right away.
But hell, maybe I'm not thinking it all through. Maybe I would be so crazy with unmitigated love and lust that I would be ready to just about everything. This question will remain unanswered until I find myself in that position. LMAO
2 - Sydney was a bit of a drama queen and I didn't like that she overreacted after that situation with Zach. She was fooled way too easily.
Before that, all the things the bartender said to her were obviously suspicious and had one simple purpose - break her trust in Kyler.
I know Kyler was a man-whore and everything, but dammit, after everything that had happened between them and, most important of all, after so many years of friendship, she should have had a little more faith in him.
Apart from that, this book was awesome.
Sydney was damn funny, Kyler was an unbelievable sexy beast, the angst was amazing and the sex scenes were the bomb.
I hope the next book is about Andrea and Tanner. I'm curious to know what is really going on between those two.
Really, read this book.

This isn't my normal reading genre but since I want to read all JLA her books I decided to read this one.
It's a friend's to lovers which was nice for a change because I mostly read enemies to lovers 😂
It was good like all jla her books are but I ofcourse missed my fantasy spark.
