Definitely a great, and steamy read. It was a satisfying romance read...it kind of had similar themes and challenges of other books I've read, but sometimes I don't mind reading similar things if they're things I like. Sydney was ADORABLE. She was just pick you up and hug her cute. There was a lot of fun banter, and even witty inner dialogue in this one...I found myself laughing, and thinking "I would think/say that". She and Kyler had great chemistry together.... Obviously loved Kyler too. Sometimes I get frustrated with these man-whore heros, but Kyler did have a very adorable other side, so I forgave him. Had a bit of suspense, but it was mostly focused on the love story.

I absolutely adored this book!

This is one of those stories where the boy and girl have been best friends for all their lives and all of a sudden WHAM! they fall in love.

[a:J. Lynn|699143|J. Lynn|http://d202m5krfqbpi5.cloudfront.net/authors/1360991177p2/699143.jpg]'s writing in this story had me giggling the entire way through. It's such a cheeky way of writing but I absolutely loved it!

There was a bit of a suspense plot twist in this story that had me wondering who the hell would be after these guys?

It's definitely a must read, if you ask me!

Ugh, this was so cute. *Happy tears*

Full disclosure: I LOVE anything that J. Lynn writes!!
I love that she wrote this realistic love story with characters that aren't completely broken by something tragic in their past. She manages to write man-whore characters that I cannot help but fall in love with a little bit, despite that exact fault. Kyler is well....

"Kyler...yeah, he put that 'oo' in swoon."

"I finally got it. Hell. I got it in that moment what had been so elusive to me the entire time. Sex, mattered--oh, holy shit, it mattered--when it was with a person who meant something."

Sydney was a bit insecure but honestly given their past history who wouldn't be?

"I was Kyler's best friend. And because of that, he would never love me the way I loved him."

Some of the lines in this book made me giggle and I love it when a couple are both hot and funny together.

"How much snow are they calling for?" "Somewhere between a lot and Holy Fuck!"

"The whole thing was about ten levels of awkward and a basement full of someone-kill-me-now."

I am also a fan of a book set in the winter, released in July!
Overall I would say that while this isn't a book that will haunt me for days or weeks it will be a book I will return to often just to get the warm fuzzies.

Another really good read from J. Lynn/JLA!!!! I always love her "voice" in her work. Really enjoyed the story of Kyler and Sydney.
