Cute NA romance.
Sexual content.
Hot guy.
Sweet girl.
Amazing read.
JLA has done it again

The writing is cringey in parts. It’s got some awkwardly written sex scenes. But nevertheless I finished it in about two days.

I'm a fan of Jennifer Armentrout (er...J. Lynn) in all ways--young adult, new adult, paranormal, romance, whatever. If she writes it, I'm there. As for this particular book, I did enjoy it, but to me, it lost steam at the ending.

This book focuses on a girl named Sydney who is in love with her best friend Kyler. Kinda formulaic but it doesn't stay that way for long. Enter sexual tension, jealousy, really crazy low self-esteem, a stalker, and a backdrop of pretty forgettable but fun minor characters, and you have a party. Nothing too out of the blue happens, so I would recommend this for readers who want a one or two day escape.

5 Stars!!!

Oh My Gosh! This book y’all! I loved it so much I immediately bought the second one! I knew it was going to be a friends to lovers trope which is one of my favorites!! It also had the stuck together/one bed trope!! Jennifer L Armentrout doesn’t disappoint!

Two childhood best friends being secretly in love with one another. Sydney, a shy reader, tries so hard to hide it and Kyler, notoriously known to not do relationships, thinks he isn’t good enough for Syd. So they hide it from each other. What was supposed to be a trip for the group of friends and them up to the snowy mountains. Only Syd and Kyler make it up there before a blizzard hits.

Stuck together, trying to survive the storm, they’re forced to admit their feelings for one another! This book is packed full of love, heartbreak, steamy bits, and action. I read this in one sitting because I could not put it down. It captured me from chapter 1 and was such a page turner!

I connected with Sydney on a deep level, her insecurities, her shyness, her first boyfriend experience. I didn’t find her whiney. I found her to be afraid, afraid to admit her feelings in fear of losing Kyler. I felt a lot of the hurt she did! I loved the dual POV and reading what was going through Kylers mind! I highly recommend this book!!

Lots of folks didn't seem to like this one . . . it was a quick read, cute, and I loved the characters. The storyline was great and I love J. Lynn.

I’m sucked for best friends turned boyfriends/girlfriend. Sydney has been in love with Kyler since they were both kids, she stood by him through everything. Kyler realized he liked her, when she started dating her boyfriend, but never felt good enough for her, so he slept with basically everyone.
That will all start to change when they get stranded at the ski resort.

It’s just such a lovely, heartwarming story, with incredibly addicting writing. I loved it! :)

I don't recall reading this but when I re-read it, it was nearly impossible to get through.
