Como el hielo es una historia sencilla, pero muy entretenida.
En este libro Jennyfer nos cuenta la historia de Kyler, que desde el primer momento en que lo describe no pude dejar de pensar en Calamardo sexy y Sydney, dos mejores amigos que siente un poco mas y que tienen mucho miedo de arruinar esa amistad que tienen desde hace años si siguen los mandatos de tu corazón.
Sydney no me gustó demasiado, su personalidad es bastante floja y por momentos me daban ganas de zarandearla para que se espabilara un poco.
Kyler compensó con su personalidad, es bastante cliché, el típico tipo sexy a lo Calamardo, que se acuesta con medio campus, pero que nunca le entregó sus corazón a nadie, salvo a la protagonista del libro.
La historia tiene un poco de acción, aunque no se si es el termino que mejor la defina, pero me gustaron esos momentos sobre el final del libro que le dan una vuelta interesante a la trama.
Tal vez no sea uno de los mejores libros que leí de Armentrout, pero todos sus libros tienen muy buen ritmo, si te engancharon en los primeros capítulos, ya sabes que lo vas a terminar y que te va a gustar.

A fun, light read. Lots of romance. Unrequited love and miscommunication. Overall, pretty enjoyable!

Really likeable characters, especially for a new adult novel. I mean, these characters did the typical annoying things. Syd does the typical, "oh my lord there's no way he could ever love someone as disgusting as me" while Kyler does the typical, "i sleep with every woman to mask my real feelings for the girl I've always been in love with" thing. But for some reason, maybe the dialogue? I didn't hate them. Or maybe I was in the right mood for this.

Es un libro ligero, un cliché a lo grande... pero amo a los cliché y siendo que mi escritora favorita lo escribió, fue una buena lectura mientras duro. A pesar de que la protagonista era media tonta algunas veces y daba ganas de pegarle, y Kyler era bastante más idiota que ella. Tal para cual.

The story itself was just really cute. And i loved seeing the characters start to realize that maybe they could be more than friends.
Sydney was funny, independent and strong willed. She wasn't a party girl. She would much rather be at home reading, than to be at a bar drinking. Also, she has loved Kyler for forever. Syd was a great character. She had a cool personality that made you instantly fall in love with her.
Kyler was also a great character. He was a lot harder to figure out than Syd was. It took me a while to figure out if he loved Syd like a best friend or if it was more than that. Either way i thought he was awesome. He was of course a total man-whore. He was good looking and he knew it. And unlike Syd he was also a total party guy. But in some ways he was like Syd. He was funny, independent, and strong willed as well. I totally loved him! I guess it helped a little that he was ripped and was just plain gorgeous.
I loved the chemistry between Kyler and Sydney. They are definitely made this book a new favorite of mine. I loved how it had both Kyler's and Syd's POVs, it really made the book that much better. This book was all i hoped for and more. Jen definitely didn't disappoint(as usual).

IM FINALLY FREEEEEE!! this book... idk what to say. i thought it was so bad and i was surprised it was bc j. lynn wrote wait for you series and i LOVE that series so i was shocked that her writing was just not that good in this book. i was so close to dnf but i decided to continue it for my book goal
