Muy caótico y hasta cierto punto cliché en mi opinión, contiene algunas escenas muy explícitas y en una parte en específico se vuelve difícil de creer que la protagonista se enfrenta a algo sumamente trágico y lo supera muy fácil.

Aw, me encantó :').

Knowing Jennifer L. Armentrout's other books, this was kind of a surprise as it was a contemporary romance with lots of smut, though I have to admit that lots of books written under her pen name have similarities with this one.

Having said that, I still liked it. The characters start off as friends, their relationship already established at the start. I am a fan of all kinds of romance novels (I know many that prefer enemies to lovers), so I didn't have a problem with the "getting to know each other" part missing.

Relationship wise, this books and the portrayed connection between Sydney and Kyler was unfortunately not as deep and convincing as in some of her other books. Even their friendship seemed very superficial, only being seen as deeper in some short parts. The book and story had lots of potential and I think that a few changes and a few additions of more personal/emotional scenes would have made the book for me.

I don't want to say too much about the plot, but I want to stress that it was very much thrilling and didn't have any too long passages that would make me want to put down the book. It surprised me, expecting a rather normal college romance novel, with the introduction of the threat that is after them both. But I found that it was only adding to my enjoyment, not feeling too unrealistic or forced (Although sending death treats to regular people feels rather unlikely to me)

In the end, the only reason for me giving three stars instead of five is the lacking depth of their relationship that is supposed to make me believe that Sydney and Kyler will get their happily ever after without splitting up in the future.

spice level was impeccable. recommend as a quick, smutty romance if you’re looking for it. only three stars because i didn’t think any of the characters were all that memorable and i’ll probably forget about this book within the next month or two.

This book was beautiful. I don't think I can give a proper review without spoiling everything, but if you love romance books I would give this New Adult book a chance. The plot was well developed with some suspense mixed in and at some points I just said "Awh" out loud because it was that adorable. Kyler and Sydney's relationship had its bumps in the road, but it made the book all the more realistic. I will definitely be picking up more or J. Lynn's (Jennifer Armentrout's) books in the future!!

I think this book is - again - something very new Jennifer has produced. But it's good!

I'd have given it 3.5 if that was an option. It was entertaining and a quick, fun read. Super sexy.

DID NOT FINISH

I just.....no. Just no. With the slut shaming, the juvenile writing, I can't believe this is JLA. I still love her, but damn. Looking forward to Opposition though.
