I really enjoyed this one! The world of Dark Olympus and Wicked Villains bleeding into each other was very interesting. Watching the relationship between Hades and Meg mending thanks to Hercules was really sweet too. Katee has quickly become one of my auto-buy authors

while I didn’t enjoy this one as much as I did DESPERATE MEASURES, this one was so so hot and once again, I’d read anything katee robert writes 😮‍💨

following a poly relationship between hades, meg and hercules, the three of them must come to terms with their bargain with the underworld god and the best way to finally admit to their feelings for each other!!

friends with benefits usually isn’t my favorite trope so I think that’s why I didn’t love this one as much - plus meg was insecure about herself af (totally unlike her normal characterization) which made me want to shake her by the shoulders and scream that she’s a queen and not to be messed with!!!

as someone who can relate to trust issues 🤪 … I get the hesitation between the three of them, but it wasn’t enough to balance an entire story off of imo

I enjoyed this book wayyy more than the first in the series but no where near as much as dark Olympus. The characters are likeable and there is way more kinky scenes than in DO but the story isn’t as interesting. Hoping if the next one is better, as the pattern seems to be going, that it might get to the same standard as DO.

Hades/Meg/Hercules dark romance retelling including a polyamourous relationship and intro BDSM.

I definitely like this retelling more than Desperate Measures. The characters were complex and had more depth. Their personalities balanced out and allowed for interesting dynamics during scenes.

I’ve got no spoons, so this won’t be a long or fancy review, but I did like this book. Learn My Lesson was better than Desperate Measures, and thankfully didn’t include the word “daddy.” I loved Meg and Hercules, and liked Hades well enough. They’re the power trio I didn’t know I wanted to see. Total badasses.

And even though Zeus is one of the biggest assholes I’ve ever seen, it was quite fun to see this series connect to Dark Olympus. I’ve come up with a number of theories tying this to Neon Gods that I’m curious to see if I’m right about.

Not sure when it’ll happen, but I’m eager to see what other directions Robert takes this series in. 😌✨💙
