I wanted to celebrate Halloween by reading some books from my teenage years and this one was displayed at the library I go to so I had to give it a try. Surprisingly, this book is nothing like the movie. I actually enjoyed this story much more than the slasher film that was made from this book. Overall, I was glad I picked it up and I am looking forward to reading more of Duncan's teen books.

i mean, this was fine. nothing to write home about but it wasn't horrible. it was nothing like the movie, not even really sure the movie could be classified as an adaptation but that's life lol.

Great horror book for anyone who loves mysteries and horror combined!

I did not see the twist at the end of the book coming at all. I was shocked that Julie and Helen didn't know the truth, but then again they weren't friends so I guess they couldn't have. I like the way that the book gave many possible suspects and then the person who turned out to be the culprit at the end was the last person you would have suspected.
