Honestly, I didn't really understand what was going on, which is very much a "me problem." However, the spooky vibes were immaculate and it's interesting to see how different Dracula was supposed to start out.

Good collection of short stories. They vary in quality but are gripping and often mysterious!

This is a series of short stories. Most are forgettable. The overall theme of each story is that the main character is a presumptuous white British man who dares to adventure where he shouldn't be and has to deal with the consequences. I read this because I love Stoker's Dracula and wanted to read the short story, Dracula's Guest. It was OK and I'm glad I read it; though I will never pick this one up again. If you want to explore Bram Stoker's writing, just read Dracula.
