Whilst a few issues as an adult reading a children's book still massivly enjoyable and with Colfer's usual wit and an entertaining extension to the fowl serries

Such a whirlwind read. I never read the original Artemis Fowl books but at no point did I feel like this was an issue. This is perfect for strong, young readers with a really twisty and action packed plot. Real fun to read.

A hilarious start to a new series in the Fowl line. Can't wait for more Fowl shenanigans!

i bought this book not knowing anything about it, so i was probably not the target audience, but i enjoyed it nonetheless! it just took me a while to get interested in the story, but when i was hooked it was fun! i recommend for younger audiences

3.5 stars.

I love this cover. I wish it was the cover I have in the library.

This will never take the place of the first three Artemis Fowl series for me but is as good as the later books in that same series. It was enjoyable. I will probably keep reading the rest in the series.

I have always been a fan of Artemis Fowl and Eoin Colfer's writing. It was nice to be able to dive into the world of LEP and meeting Holly again through the extension of this series of books. It mentioned Artemis a few times, but he wasn't essential to the storyline which is nice if you haven't read the previous books.

I loved the twins and how they are complete opposites, yet understand each other on a different level that I believe only twins can experience. I love that they show intelligence in different ways as well. One is more mentally intelligent while the other is more physical is the idea you get as a reader. I like how it moves away from this throughout the story and shows how each of the boys are intelligent in their own ways and how they can respect each other because of it.

I love the cover of the book. There are not a lot of books with orange covers so the color makes it stand out quite a bit on a bookshelf or when looking for it in a store. I love the way the twins are illustrated because I was having a hard time determining what they would look like from the author's words.

I've been a fan of Artemis Fowl for a long time. I loved the original series and I've been waiting for the movie version (hopefully it is a decent movie) for a long time.
I wasn't sure what to think about a new series within the world of Artemis Fowl, but since I loved the original series so much I had to give it a chance. I was not disappointed. Fowl Twins was a great read. Funny, clever and easy to get into. I couldn't put it down and wanted more when I was done.
Using the Fowl twins as the main characters was a really clever thing to do, and then having them be two completely different people who function extremely well as a unit was also a really cool and clever move on the authors part. The other main characters were also really interesting. And the villains were even better. Teddy Bleedham-Drye was great and seems like he will be a thorn in everyone's sides for a long time. And the special agent nun was also a really clever way to change up the villain M.O. and make something new.
