I dont like anybody, maybe when i have nothing to read ill come back to it

Not sure what to say, because my thoughts are really hard to sum up. I read this book super slowly because i couldn’t read for two weeks because of mid terms. thus i got half way through, stopped, and finished it today. SO technically i read it in two days lmao. this was second taylor jenkins reid book and i loved it. both are so good. this was such an interestingly and well written book and i really enjoyed it. it felt so real and vivid. i was so immersed in the story and the characters truly came to life. i was rooting for every single one of them (except eddie i’m sorry lmao but at least u got ur happy ending). karen and graham put me through it. camila deserved better but was an angel and i’m glad her and billy stayed together till the end. i’m glad daisy got clean and got her happy ending. the fact that julia was writing this whole thing was so clever and i really enjoyed that aspect. if this trope is a book, it’s definitely right person, wrong time. it is also definitely unrequited love. that part really hurt. i cant believe this isn’t a real band. this was a whirlwind. truly fun and an incredibly hypnotizing story.

I was expecting for this to be a 5-star read, given all the hype. Though it didn't quite live up to its reputation, this gets a solid strong 4-stars for me. Unique and believable. I was drawn into the story of all of the characters. Wonderfully fleshed out characters that are so well written that you believe they aren't just figments of this author's imagination.

Heartbreaking, poignant, relatable in a human way. The audiobook was great. Now, if only I could listen to those songs, I'd die a happy woman.

I gave 2 stars for how well Jenkins Reid maintains multiple first person narratives using an interview format. Clever and well done. I could not finish the book though- the characters are so shallow/surface and the plot is the same. I did not plan to watch the series, and now most certainly won't.
