did y'all think i was done? soy débil

I loved all the tropes:

Fake dating
Enemies to lovers
Workplace romance
Neighbours

It had everything and to top it all off it was a south Asian representation. What more could I ask for?✨

However I’m taking 1/2 a star away because I feel that when it hit just over half the book (75% complete), it was dragging a little bit. The story was stuck and wasn’t progressing but I guess that is just my opinion. Also the ending made up for it so no complaints.

another great recommendation found on booktok!
i had no idea what this book was about when i picked it up, but as soon as i did, i couldn't put it down. it's one of those books that you find yourself sitting on the edge of your seat while you're reading it.

as soon as sarvenaz and jordan met in their apartment building, i knew i was in for a treat! the tension between the two main characters is second to none, it literally gave me butterflies. i love how we also get a glimpse into their cultural backgrounds (mainly sarvenaz) - it just adds so much to their characters and also gives the reader a bit of insight into their personalities.

i really encourage anyone and everyone to pick up this cute book, especially if you're in a reading slump! (it legit got me out of one!) this is a stunning debut novel, credits to the author and writing team, this is one of my new favourites!

not much relationship development. went from hating each other to suddenly being obsessed with each other without any buildup
