Not a fan of the way the series has turned as I dont really care about the other world and espically from reading from Neferets pov.

I had a hard time figuring out my rating for this book, but it is somewhere between 3 and 4. The different perspectives were nice in this book, where it wasn't the same old characters, but it was also kind of obvious where things were going. Still planning to finish the series, but I'm not necessarily desperate to do so.

Other Neferet really be a crazy bitch! What's going to happen when she crosses over to the original world even though her half is there (even though locked up in a tree)? IDK, I'm just pure trash for this series and as long as Aphrodite makes till the end, I'll be happy.
Trigger Warnings: loss of loved ones, blood, slight gore, gaslighting, mentions of rape, death, and human sacrifice

I love this series and I am so glad it came back.  These authors are one of my favorites!  This book was just as good as the rest.  I was a little confused at first but starting with the "other world", I was concerned the book took a weird curve off a mountain. I was wrong!  I get it now I just has to read on to see where these great women were taking this book and series.  I can't wait for the next book!  Awwsome!
