Callous Prince is the second book in the Hellfire club. This book is told from dual points of view from Lennox Lincoln-Ward and Sloane Lauder. Lennox is a Prince and had a rough past. Due to Sloane's father arresting his father in the most public way. Therefore he wants to make Sloane pay.

Sloane doesn't understand why Lennox has such a problem with her. However as the book goes on she realizes her father was involved more in his father's case then she thought. When her father asks for her help in snooping through Lennox's stuff she agrees since he's making her life rough.

However as the story goes on they start to have feelings for each other. Sloane is now hiding what she did from her father from Lennox. What happens when Lennox finds out what she is hiding? Will his feelings be stronger than his hate for her and her father?

I really enjoyed this book, and can't wait for the next one in the series!

- like in the first book, the author is great at creating chemistry between the characters. the heat is felt and just leaps off the page. I enjoy that a lot in a book. However, the writing was okay, and I was bored for most of the story. I’ve seen it before.

Sloane is a quirky character. She’s a bit of a sleuth, she picks locks and hacks phones/computers...for good, of course ;) She wants to follow in her fathers footsteps, he’s an Interpol agent.
She isn’t terribly “girly” or caught up in the wealthy ways of the students at her elite boarding school.
Lennox is a prince, literally. He seems cold, sometimes cruel and entitled. He also seems to have it out for Sloane.
Things aren’t as they seem. People are more complex than what we initially see.
They have great hate/lust vibes.
The banter is fun with all the characters.
Lennox is a surprise sweetheart, I really loved getting to see his true character unfold.
Together they are very hot and steamy! He’s quite the dirty talker and she’s not inhibited despite her inexperience. They are so very hot together!
I enjoyed the fairytale-like world/story of these characters. It’s a fun getaway from reality.

A very steamy enemies-to-lovers, new adult story.
In this second book of the Hellfire Club, we get a more indepth look at the other boys in this group, beyond the illustrious Keaton Constantine, which is a great set up for the next books to come. The dynamic between several couples are flushed out along with the main storyline between Lennox and Sloane.

I wouldn't necessarily categorize this as a bully romance, but certainly a enemies-to-lovers. Lennox hasn't exactly made Sloane's life easy, but he hasn't terrorized her either. Most times he just all out ignores her, and she does the same thing to him. Beginning freshman year, both have pulled pranks on the other, while retaliating with their own form of revenge, but they don't push it beyond that.
It's now senior year and Lennox has been pushed into a corner and everything escalates. His feelings for Sloan can no longer be kept under wraps and while they have danced around each other for the past several years, their moment is finally here, it's do or die time. Will they fall in love or walk away?

I can see where these stories will build upon each other going forward, since there was more information with the other characters and about the club they are in along with the interaction between the potential couples as well.

We're taken back to those boy's of Pembroke Preparatory Academy in the Hellfire series this is book 2 and can be read as a standalone. This is a friends to enemies story between Lennox and Sloane. This story pulled me in from the start and didn't let go till the end. Not to give things away, but if you've read the 1st book you'll want to grab this one. The chemistry between these 2 was off the hook.

I really love Becker Gray’s addition to the Midnight Dynasty. I love that this collection is connected by characters but that each book has its own HEA.

This is Sloane and Lennox’s turn, this is more than a story about two kids who find each other, this is a story of trust and forgiveness as well. Their story is a steamy one too.

Becker Gray is giving us characters that could be trite and superficial but instead they are layered and flawed and human.

I am really enjoying this series, it’s a little dark, a little twisty and emotionally raw. It goes above and beyond what we are used to. I can’t wait to read more!

I was so excited for Callous Prince after I saw that it was about Sloan and Lennox because I really wanted to read their story after getting hints of them in Wicked Idol and they did not disappoint! I’m a sucker for a good bully enemies to lovers romance and this definitely delivered. It was full of delicious fire, intensity, and tension and I absolutely lurved it!

I already really loved Sloane going into Callous Prince because I loved her vibe in Wicked Idol and while it obviously felt different actually being in her head, it just made me love her more. Sloane is a strong, capable, badsass heroine full of determination, integrity, and fierceness. She’s very direct and I appreciated everything about her — she’s awesome!

I figured I would probably love Lennox, but I had no idea just how much. The dude’s definitely got his issues, but man, it’s undeniable the way he feels about Sloane. Yeah, he wasn’t the best in the past, but you get to see how much he admires, respects, and loves her strength. Lennox is a total goner for her and I really loved that and the way he truly saw her. He was actually really sweet and romantic too which I wasn’t expecting but completely melted my heart. He was the best and he’s my fave hero in the series right now!

Wicked Idol had felt pretty chill, but while Callous Prince felt a little more intense, it wasn’t bonkers either. It was so passionate, exciting, and entertaining and it made me laugh, smile, shake my head, and do double takes. It left me feeling all warm and gooey inside — I really had a lot of fun reading it!

This enemies to lovers with bullying as a cherry on top book was so good, this one is Sloane and Lennox's story, the angst and slow-burn had me reading this in no time, the fire and spark these two ignited was pure hotness. The whole series is starting to come alive with more story underneath each couple's story, definitely want to keep on reading all of them and get the answers. I would love to hear them as an audiobook someday as well. Brilliant refreshing and intriguing series.
