There are parts of the plot that are confusing, that seem like choices are being made by the characters simply to fit a horror movie narrative. However were this book shines is it main character. A harrowing character study on changing from character to person. Or in the terminology of the peculiar parallel world this book occupies from victim to final girl.

Not quite on the level of MHIAC, but still an enjoyable read. Jade has returned after she is acquitted. At the same time, a serial killer has escaped and is loose in the area. Of course, the bodies begin piling up quickly.

I've heard great things about The Angel of Indian Lake, so I'm excited to dive right into that.

What a fantastic sequel. Again would love to see this in movie format as well.

If you read the first one, you won’t be disappointed.

Does get a little confusing in the middle but it’s okay.

LOVED IT.
