Sienna Snow really wove an intensely passionate and unique storyline about the mob life and so much more with Dangerous King. It was intense and raw on every level between Nikhil and Danika. There was an insane under current connection between these two that it beyond sizzled off the page and so much more! What I adored is the concept behind this. There were twists and turns and such a deep level of what is going on in your brain while you are reading this story. It blew me away! I am really looking forward to what is to come with this series!
This was a fun read...ngl I do wish I got a little more story...though this is a series where I'm guessing every features a different couple...I guess I'm used to these kinds of series having books that feel a little more wrapped up than this one felt...idk how to explain.
Overall, I love this story, though I wish I gotten to know both characters even more. It was really refreshing too having essentially a mafia romance but with POC characters 🥰 Looking forward to picking up the other books in the series. ^^

Great mafia plot in this. I enjoyed the "its always been you" energy between the Nikhill and Danika. Felt maybe the ending was rushed a little but overall good read
Danika and Nikhil were the perfect game of chess, watching each one try and out do the other. Having loved each other for years from afar it is their time to make it work. The twist and turns this love story takes is insane, whenever you think you know where it is going to go, nope complete different direction. Danika and Hill are strong people who will only bend for one another. Snow gives us the world of the the Street Kings that is complex with so many layers and future story line that make is a great read.
I loved this book so much!! I devoured it within hours. The storyline, the history between the characters, the longing and the intense chemistry had me turning those pages. The connection between Nik and Danika is so strong that even being apart for 15 years did not diminish any of the intensity. Nik knew Danika since she was the frightened 8-year old following him around their poverty stricken neighborhood. And as they grew up they all started to protect each other. Then one day she disappeared. It is now the present day and they are now face to face and Danika is in Nik’s world and the dynamics have changed. Danika has a mission and she can not complete it without Nik’s assistance, but there is of course a price. Nik has not gotten to be where he is without collecting on favors with more than agreed upon. Nik stayed away from her for her own sake but now that she is in his realm, staying away is not something he can or will do.
Danika and Nik’s story grabbed me from the very beginning. I adored both of them so much individually. Seeing what Danika has been up to in the last 15 years is impressive. She is intelligent and strong and determined to right all the wrongs that were done to her and to those she loves. Nik is that possessive alpha male whose heart has all been Danika’s since they were teenagers and how he is finally able to claim her with any means necessary. I also loved how they were both so determined to always protect the other, in the past and in the present. And together they were fire, you can feel the intensity and longing with just a look. Once they are finally together, their scenes are combustible!
Besides the main characters, the secondary characters were just as fantastic. The rest of the Kings and Danika’s girls need to have their own story.
