Slow start, but picks up after a few chapters. Drags in the middle. Ending is fine.
The dialogue is very rough; it was the worst part of the webnovel (why do psychic spiders, college professors, and a millennia-old lich have the same speaking voice as a teenager?). Outside of dialogue, the writing is still not good, but it's not the worst litrpg writing out there.
Overall, the books don't live up to the hype.
