Pretty typical Hiaasen romp, but enough pot shots at D. T. to make me happy.
I enjoyed it.

Prime Hiaasen - only thing is, the reality of current events completely outstrips whatever outrageousness he can come up with... also, the actual First Lady is nowhere near as sympathetic as Hiaasen's.

As with many of Carl Hiaasen's book you can not skip a page or even a sentence. Plot point and dialog happen a a very quick pace. I wonder what Carl really thinks about the former president.

I can't believe how much Carl Hiaasen has delighted me over the past 30+ years. Just his odd little, off the cuff details make me howl. And adding in a certain Florida resident to this one made it all the better. Just what I needed to read right now.

Funny but irreverent. A good listen as the narrator was excellent. Not one I would suggest to my patrons, but good for something completely different.

Perfect take-down of Dumpf and his fake-assed wife. And hilarious to boot.

I don’t normally leave bad reviews but I figure a writer the stature of Carl Hiassen can take it. This book was fun and I was having a good time with it, but I just got so distracted and irritated by the way he conflates fatness and morality. I mean, I’m here for mocking Trump however you want, but people aren’t bad because they’re fat or fat because they’re bad.

Clearly the author has the same low opinion of the President as I do. At times laugh out loud but overall the mystery dragged. Reader on audiobook did a nice job.

Super funny and relevant to today’s times! I needed this with everything going on in the world right now.

So funny! I enjoyed the lampooning of Mastodon and Mockingbird.
