A story about a college girl who accidentally sleeps with her best friends mom at a bar. This story is charming and steamy af. Takes the stepmom/moms teach sex porn genres and turns it into something lovely and charming.

Fantastic sex scenes, deeply questionable decision-making, predictably low stakes. Everything a queer romance book like this needs.

Should’ve read the synopsis, so my bad. I generally don’t mind age gap relationships to an extent, but having a daughter the same age as the other FMC isn’t sitting well with me. Oh well.

This was a quick read and enjoyable at times. I love an age gap romance(consenting adults ofc), but this left me with a bit to be desired. I had a hard time enjoying them as a couple because it was difficult to separate Cassie as a full-grown adult. Whether that was how she was written or the structure of the story with Parker, I don't know.

I like a well written sex scene, but that's what 80% of this book is, explicit sex scenes. Almost to the point of it being PWP. I don't feel like the romance was actually given any room to grow or for the payout of the ending to be believable. I wanted to love it, but I needed more character growth and substance to hold onto.
