A.f. Steadman's endings need work, the pacing is definitely off, such is a trend for these books. The beginning seems normal, if a bit slow, the at the end everything happens all at once.  Overall, a decent read with decent character development and some good moments. Some of the character internal monologues went on too long and i think with one of the characters, kenna, the author was trying to make us sympathize with her but no matter what she was just annoying and entitled to me. I will Def be continuing the rest of the series!

What do you mean I have to wait a whole year for answers??? This was such a good book that fully lived up to the joy of reading the first one years ago and becoming a little bit completely obsessed with this series. So much growth and development happened for both the plot and the characters and I am dying to see what happens next.

The more I read this series, the more I love it. 

A.F. Steadman paced this series perfectly and I have somehow found myself entirely invested in it and its characters and I'm already dying for book three.
