I've heard that nothing really happens in this manga, and it was true. At least it was quick to read.

Almost every panel is a gorgeous, detailed meditation on everyday surroundings, and it seems like this would hold up very well over repeat readings. The chapter where he breaks his glasses is my favorite, because it offers two different gazes, one omnipresent and the other through a distorted lens, not unlike the walks I take with my camera.
