Falling in love is never easy, but it is even harder when you have built huge walls around your heart to protect it. So when Austin and Carter meet it is not love at first sight, but the more time they spend together the closer they become. Will Austin shut it all down to save himself heartache? Or will he be exactly who Carter needs when danger is staring her in the face? Second chance romance at it's best!! This story is filled with wonderful characters that are so easy to love as well as a timeless tale of falling in love.

This is Catherine's first book AND features characters from the Beautifully Broken Pieces series (Taylor and Liam) and Reckless Memories (Ford) ?! How did I miss on these facts ?!
I thought this was a great debut novel ! I loved Carter and Austin's story, even if Austin was a jerk at the beginning. Their relationship is strong and I absolutely adore the fact that they started as best friends.
Again, I figured out pretty quickly who the stalker was (except from one thing) but it's not about being surprised for me, it's about the journey. And I'm very happy with where Austin and Carter ended up.

Loved this
I really enjoyed this book. It had everything in it from friendships, Romance, heart ache, drama, and suspense. Austin is a hot alpha MMA fighter who befriends Carter after a misunderstanding and they become inseparable but of course drama ensues. I don’t want to give things away but some readers may not like that the characters have a long separation and Austin does sleep around during that time but it is not detailed and does not take away from the story and is done so well that I didn’t care because he makes up for it. I highly recommend because it’s a sweet and cute read that will be on my reread list.
