Overall I really liked this book. I read it super quickly! The female lead is strong, has a good sense of humor/sass and the banter between her and the male lead was pretty great. The ending got a bit weird but it felt like this book had heart, humor, and spice.

I just didn't find it to be very well written. Lots of fluff and build up for it to kinda fall flat. Single pepper for spice. I just felt like it needed more and it didn't met my expectations

I enjoyed this way more than I expected to. This was my first Ali Hazelwood book.
I liked the main plot, with the mystery. The romance was fine too. The twists and turns of the plot could be predictable at times, but I still enjoyed the ride.
