Tim lays out what winning really means - the realities that you can’t understand fully without putting skin all in the game. A great follow up to relentless- I love the principles he lays out in this book - more like laying out realities he’s seen first hand many times. Hard stuff that draws the line on fire and blood between the bullshit and the real thing.

From the ebook:

If you think the cost is too high, wait until you get the bill for doing nothing.

*****

MIND>FEELINGS.
If the mind does its job, the right feelings will be there at the end when you win. If not, you end up with feelings no one wants.

*****

Control your thoughts, and you control your emotions.
Control your emotions, and you control your actions.
Control your actions, and you control the outcome.

*****

You're not trying to prove others wrong, you're proving yourself right.

*****

Stop talking. When you accomplish something, Winning will do all your talking for you.

*****

Stop watching others while you stand on the sidelines wondering when it's going to be your turn. Your turn is now.

The book itself is beautifully written, I like that the author included his personal experience. The mindset that the book is promoting however is to extreme for me, and while I do agree with some things, it’s just not something that I would follow. The ending was probably my favourite part.
